Climate Action Ltd.`s important role at the IV. Leisure Conference

We concluded a long-term strategic agreement with the Central-Eastern European Recreation Company, "KERT".

On October 9, 2023, the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace of the Károli Gáspár Református University in Budapest hosted the IV. Leisure Conference, the largest recreational event in the country. The purpose of the Conference is to address the widest possible range of professionals and the public while ensuring a high professional standard.

The Conference provided an excellent opportunity for professionals to meet personally, where they could gain new knowledge, expand their network of contacts, and work on the development and implementation of joint projects.

The quality of the event is indicated by its patron: Prof. Dr. h. c. Lajos Mocsai was the chairman of the board of trustees of the University of Physical Education, and its scientific organizing committee was organized by several renowned universities (Károli Gáspár Reformed University, University of Pécs, Eötvös Lóránd University – KERT, University of Szeged, Hungarian University of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, Ferenc Gál University, Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, Semmelweis University, Neumann János University,  Budapest University of Technology and Economics.) noted.

In addition to being the professional partner of Climate Action Ltd., the carbon footprint calculation of the IV. Leisure Conference was also carried out by the company dealing with environmental protection and climate protection. The carbon footprint calculation is calculated taking into account the sustainability habits of the participants. For example, we take into account the means of transport and the distance from which visitors to the program came. We also examined the waste management habits of those attending the conference.

Another professional success is that prior to the Conference, Climate Action Ltd. concluded a long-term strategic agreement with the Central and Eastern European Recreation Society, KERT.

Dr. Gábor Gremsperger Jr., managing director of Climate Action Ltd. considered it useful to participate in the program and also talked about the details of the cooperation with KERT: "In the spirit of the cooperation, we help KERT to produce more sustainable operations. For us, strengthening the link between sport and sustainability is a priority area. Education for recreation and sustainability is also an important strategic aspect for us. This is where we will be able to strengthen each other in the future."
